Install & Activate Plugin (on the site you want to translate from)

Before you begin, make sure you are installing the Multi-Site Translator plugin on the main site—the site you want to translate from.
Installing the Multi-Site Translator plugin is quick and simple. Begin by uploading the plugin directly from your WordPress dashboard. It takes just minutes and requires only a few clicks to get your plugin up and running.
Once you activate the plugin, you’ll see a new ‘Multi-Site Translator’ menu item in your WordPress admin under Settings. This is where you’ll configure your license, add your API keys, and set up the WordPress sites you want to translate to.

  1. Upload the Plugin – Go to Plugins → Add New → Upload the ZIP file
  2. Activate the Plugin – Click “Activate Plugin” and it’s live
  3. Access Settings – Go to Settings → Multi-Site Translator

Activate Your License

After purchasing the plugin, you’ll receive a license key via email. Simply enter it into the plugin settings to activate your account. Your plan level (Free, Pro, or Agency) determines your limits and features. Once activated, the plugin settings page unlocks all features. You can now configure your API keys, add target WordPress sites, and start translating posts to multiple languages.
THE SIMPLE PROCESS:

  2. Check your email for your license key (sent right after purchase) or find it anytime on your Account page.
  3. Enter License Key
  4. Click “Activate License”

Add Target WordPress Sites

Target sites are where your translated posts go. You can add multiple sites in different languages. Setting them up takes just a few minutes.
Process:

  1. Prepare Target Site – Choose your target site URL and create Application Password (or install Basic Auth plugin on the target site)
  2. Add in Plugin – Settings → Multi-Site Translator → Target Sites → Add Site
  3. Configure – Fill in name, URL, credentials, and target language

Authentication Options:

  • Application Password (Recommended) – Create on the target site, more secure
  • Basic Auth Plugin (Alternative) – Install on the target site for older WordPress versions

Important: The Basic Auth plugin is installed on your target sites, not on your main site.

Start Translating & Transferring Posts

Select any post, choose a target site, and click translate. The plugin automatically translates your content to the target language, uploads images, and sends a draft to your chosen site.

  1. Choose Post – Edit any blog post you want to translate
  2. Select Site – Go to “Translate & Transfer” box → Choose target site from dropdown
  3. Click Translate – Click “Translate & Transfer” button
  4. Review – Check the target site → Find translated post in Drafts → Publish when ready
